About the Tour

Since 2014, our Hong Kong Island food tour has introduced thousands of guests to the flavors, stories, and soul of this culinary capital. This is the original and award-winning Hello! Hong Kong food tour—updated and refined, but still true to its roots.

You’ll begin with dim sum in a 90-year-old tea house, where dishes still arrive on clattering trolleys. Then, slurp handmade wonton noodles from a family-run shop loved by the Michelin Guide. Sip silky milk tea, ride the iconic Ding Ding tram, and feast on roast meats in a historic Cantonese kitchen once praised by Anthony Bourdain.

Throughout the tour, we explore not just what Hongkongers eat—but why. From East-meets-West fusion to preserved snacks, soy sauce traditions, herbal medicine, and old-school wet markets, you’ll get a real taste of the city’s layered culture.

We’ll walk around 3km through Sheung Wan, Central, and Wan Chai, stopping to explore historic buildings, bustling alleys, and stories from Hong Kong’s unique past.
