PRICING & OPTIONS

Please let us know if you have a preference for your sailing location and wherever possible we will try our best to ensure that we get her to your preferred area.

3-Hour Sail

3-hour private charter of Local Hero for your own sailing adventure around Hong Kong Island or Port Shelter in Sai Kung.

Your sailing adventure will start at either Aberdeen on the west coast of Hong Kong Island or at Hebe Haven in Sai Kung. Aberdeen Harbour is home to the famous floating seafood restaurants and floating village where the Tanka people (or Boat People) still live on the water in old traditional junk boats. From Aberdeen Harbour, we cruise around the South West coast going past Deep Water Bay, Middle Island where there are two Yacht Clubs based and around past Repulse Bay. Repulse Bay has a fascinating history which includes being used as a base for pirates in the mid-1800’s and as a key strategic location in the Battle of Hong Kong and in World War II. Today Repulse Bay is home to some of the most expensive real estate in Hong Kong and one of its finest beaches. Continuing south we sail past Stanley Fort which is a grade 1 listed historic building and is where British and Canadian troops mounted a final last stand during the Battle of Hong Kong. From Stanley Fort, we start to make our way back.

You can choose to end your sailing adventure in either Stanley or Aberdeen. At Stanley, you could go for lunch or dinner in one of the many bars and restaurants along the waterfront, spend the afternoon relaxing on one of Stanley’s beaches or pick up some souvenirs at the market. At Aberdeen, you could get some lunch or dinner at one of the floating restaurants or take a walk around the fish market before heading back to Central.

If your adventure starts in Hebe Haven you will be picked up from Pak Sha Wan pier which is near Hebe Haven Yacht Club and is easily accessible by public transportation or taxi from HK Island or Kowloon. Your sail will be to and around Port Shelter, a beautiful hill and cliff-ringed haven which is the site of sailboat racing most weekends. You will be amazed by the natural beauty of Hong Kong. In fact, you might not even believe that you are still in Hong Kong!

HK$8,500 total cost for 1 – 12 people.
(HK$1000 surcharge for charters from Hebe Haven).

What’s included: Private charter of the luxury sailing boat with full crew and drinks (beer, water and soft drinks). Starting: 10:00 or 14:00 in Aberdeen or Hebe Haven

7-Hour Sail

7-hour private charter of Local Hero for your own sailing adventure around Hong Kong Island or Port Shelter with a seafood lunch and some light hiking should you wish.

Like the 3-hour sail, your 7-hour adventure sail will start at either Aberdeen or Hebe Haven. Starting at Aberdeen you will take in Deep Water Bay, Middle Island, Repulse Bay, Stanley Fort and you will then go on to Po Toi Islands. We drop anchor at Po Toi and spend an hour on land enjoying a delicious fresh seafood lunch. Should you wish there is an opportunity to enjoy some moderate hiking up an easy trail before returning back to the sloop.

If you are sailing out of Port Shelter you will enjoy a lovely fresh seafood lunch in a family-owned floating restaurant surrounded by fish farms.

Chartering the boat for 7-hours not only gives you the opportunity to enjoy lunch at a local seafood restaurant but it gives you that extra time on the water to master your sailing skills, or simply enjoy taking in the sights and sounds of Hong Kong for a while longer.
